Safety

Turn Energy Maintenance has developed a very thorough and rigorous internal safety program for the benefit of our employees as well as our customers. Our program offers an outstanding training curriculum that addresses all risks and hazards typically encountered in the operations and maintenance environment. The program ensures that each of our technicians are provided with the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and tools to safely perform their activities on a day to day basis.

We developed our program utilizing OSHA guidelines as well as our own "boots on the ground" experience. Our program has also been greatly enhanced by our participation in AWEA's Health & Safety Steering Committee activities and meetings.

In addition to our commitment to proper safety program execution and maintenance, we also strive for continuous review and improvement. We utilize "near miss" analysis, technician and industry feedback, OSHA updates as well as our continued participation in AWEA Health & Safety Steering Committee activities to update our program as needed.

Turn Energy Maintenance is proud to announce that we are currently in the process of developing and seeking OHSAS 18001 Certification. OHSAS is an internationally recognized occupational health and safety management system which provides formal standards and procedures for reducing health and safety related risks in the workplace for employees, customers and the general public.
